About The Position

This role involves assisting the Product Engineering team with technical support for existing product lines, evaluating new product designs, and modifying existing products. The co-op will also be involved in designing valve constructions for critical service applications, troubleshooting valve performance or manufacturing issues, and providing engineering support to Global Sales Offices for technical quotation details. Additionally, the role includes assisting with the daily execution of product orders, developing and streamlining digital tools for design and validation, and interacting with customers.

Requirements

Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering or a closely related field.
Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person at location (Marshalltown, IA).

Nice To Haves

Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering.
GPA of 3.0 or above.
Prior internship experience.

Responsibilities

Assist Product Engineering team with technical support for existing product line.
Assist with the evaluation of new product designs, modifications to existing product, and design of valve constructions for critical service applications.
Troubleshoot valve performance or manufacturing issues while completing engineering analyses in order to provide a solution to the root cause.
Provide engineering support to the Global Sales Offices by assisting with technical quotation details for new valve offerings.
Assist with the daily execution of products orders involving design modifications, application reviews, and customer interaction.
Develop and streamline digital tools used for design and validation of new and existing products.
