About The Position

This role involves assisting the Product Engineering team with technical support for existing product lines, evaluating new product designs, and supporting the design of valve constructions for critical service applications. The co-op will troubleshoot valve performance or manufacturing issues, conduct engineering analyses to find root causes, and provide engineering support to global sales offices for technical quotation details. Additionally, the role includes assisting with the daily execution of product orders, which involves design modifications, application reviews, and customer interaction, as well as developing and streamlining digital tools for product design and validation.

Requirements

Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering or a closely related field
Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person at location (Marshalltown, IA)

GPA of 3.0 or above
Prior internship experience

Responsibilities

Assist Product Engineering team with technical support for existing product line.
Assist with the evaluation of new product designs, modifications to existing product, and design of valve constructions for critical service applications.
Troubleshoot valve performance or manufacturing issues while completing engineering analyses in order to provide a solution to the root cause.
Provide engineering support to the Global Sales Offices by assisting with technical quotation details for new valve offerings.
Assist with the daily execution of products orders involving design modifications, application reviews, and customer interaction.
Develop and streamline digital tools used for design and validation of new and existing products.
