About The Position
Our site in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Product Development Engineering Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. In this role you'll support the product development engineering designing and optimizing new products and processes for the manufacturing of Chemical Mechanical Planarization pads.
Requirements
- Experience working in a lab (employment or school) and knowledge of safe lab practices is preferred
- Ability to write technical reports and present data in a clear and concise manner
- Strong problem solving and analysis skills
- Must be a currently enrolled student
- Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June
- Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program
- Entegris is not currently hiring candidates for co-ops/internships who will need, now or at any time in the future, Entegris sponsorship through the H1-B lottery.
- This position will require the ability to work on a factory floor up to 8hrs per day operating machinery and testing equipment.

Responsibilities
- Support the process development and commercialization of new products
- Lead continuous improvement project to drive process efficiency and reduce product variation
- Work closely with various business functions to support the manufacturing processes and resolve customer product quality inquiries
Benefits
- Compensation: $20-$30/hour range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
