About The Position

Conversion is hiring a frontend-focused Product Engineer to join its product team. The role centers on owning products and features end to end: understanding customer pain points, researching and designing solutions, and delivering them through launch. Engineers work directly with customers, including responding to questions, fixing bugs, and shipping features through customer Slack channels. The role calls for a detail-oriented approach to building complex, scalable features that integrate seamlessly with the broader platform, along with strong product judgment and intellectual curiosity. The position is in person five days a week in San Francisco.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of industry experience shipping product features.
• A startup mindset and interest in early ownership in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with React and TypeScript for frontend development.
• Experience with Go for backend services.

Nice To Haves

• Experience at a Series A to C startup that scaled quickly.
• Care for React context management and maintainable code.
• A strong track record of side projects, apps, or hackathons.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision and product features end to end.
• Develop a deep understanding of customers and the enterprise marketing space.
• Own product delivery from identifying customer needs through shipping the final product.
• Work directly with customers to understand pain points, answer questions, fix bugs, and shape product features.
