Product Engineer 1

Lanner Electronics USA IncUnion City, CA
$29 - $40

About The Position

This role involves writing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and Quality Control (QC) checklists. The Product Engineer will build clear production instructions for both Pilot and Mass Production (MP) phases. Responsibilities include analyzing production test logs to identify improvements, reviewing manufacturing processes for cost reduction and quality enhancement, and ensuring compliance with standards. The role also entails managing engineering changes (ECNs/ECOs), coordinating these changes with production demands and training, and supporting their implementation on the production floor. Additionally, the engineer will build and maintain test automation tools, scripts, and fixtures, troubleshoot production test issues, and create Proof of Concept (POC) products for sales and customer requirements. Validation of manufacturability and production readiness for new configurations is crucial. The position requires strong self-learning capabilities, training of production teams, and close collaboration with various departments including Manufacturing, Quality, Test, Supply Chain, PM, and Engineering. The role operates under immediate supervision with limited independent judgment.
