About The Position

The Product Developer is an individual contributor responsible for coordinating the development of prototype products and monitoring the overall development process for a product line. The role serves as the point person for development details with vendor partners, creates and updates seasonal composite sheets and classification charts, and coordinates weekly updates so composites are used as a timely communication tool with vendors, production, technical, and merchandising teams. The Product Developer tracks development to ensure execution stays within timeframes and communicates design development details. The role typically reports to a Product Development Manager and typically has no direct reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of product design/development experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the development of prototype products.
• Monitor the overall development process for a product line.
• Serve as the point person on development details with vendor partners.
• Create and update seasonal composite sheets and classification charts.
• Coordinate the workflow of weekly updates so composites are used as a timely communication tool with vendors, production, technical, and merchandising.
• Track development to ensure execution is within timeframes.
