About The Position

SharkNinja is hiring a Product Developer to join its global Product Development organization. This team drives the product roadmap from concept to shelf, partnering across the business to deliver consumer satisfaction and strong business results. The role supports the Ninja business while managing and enhancing assigned Shark product lines, with a focus on product improvements, user research, and cross-functional rollout of enhancements. The Product Developer acts as a consumer advocate and product expert, helping maintain a five-star experience and supporting continued portfolio growth. The role combines consumer insight, product specification development, category performance ownership, competitive analysis, and quality collaboration. The Product Developer works with Engineers, Marketers, Testing and Quality teams, and other business partners to identify product opportunities, improve existing products, and ensure consumer feedback informs future generations. The position is suited to someone who is consumer-first, organized, communicative, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

2–4 years of experience in product development, product marketing, marketing, human factors engineering, or a related field; preferably at a consumer goods company.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Management, Engineering, or a combination of these fields.
A consumer-first perspective when introducing new products or processes or improving current products.
Ability to build relationships across multifunctional teams and strong interpersonal skills.
Highly effective written and face-to-face communication skills, including presentations, email, concise problem-solving conversations, and presentations to all levels of management.
Strong project management skills, including prioritizing effectively, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and staying organized in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn and grow in a passionate environment.
Ability to embrace transparency and shifting priorities, learn from decisions, and focus on the path forward.

Nice To Haves

Passion for hair care or the beauty realm.
Formal experience in beauty or haircare products, such as hair tools or cosmetics tools.

Responsibilities

Support development of successful and profitable programs for key products to sustain product portfolio growth.
Manage and enhance assigned product lines, including driving product improvements and optimizations, conducting user research, and partnering cross-functionally to roll out enhancements.
Define, develop, and iterate product specifications based on consumer needs, market whitespace, and product technologies.
Own assigned categories’ sales performance by partnering with colleagues to identify successful and unsuccessful products and recommend opportunities to address gaps.
Lead competitive product analyses and provide business partners with insights into how Shark products compare with competitors and where they can improve.
Share consumer and market insights from legacy product lines with Product Developers focused on new product development so feedback and critical features inform next-generation products.
Partner with Testing and Quality organizations to define, develop, and manage quality and performance testing procedures.
Serve as the product expert for questions and concerns from cross-functional team members.
