About The Position

Qureos is hiring a Product Designer for a New York-based client building AI agents that automate complex accounting and financial workflows. The company is backed by leading venture capital investors, valued at over $1B, serves major accounting firms, and has a team of more than 100 people.

The designer will own end-to-end design for new AI-powered product experiences, working closely with product managers, engineers, accountants, and company leadership. The role involves turning complex problems into intuitive, high-quality software and shaping new product verticals from initial concepts through launch. It calls for strong UX fundamentals, excellent visual design judgment, and a hands-on approach to AI-assisted design and prototyping. The position is on-site at the client’s New York City office five days per week.

Requirements

• 3–10 years of experience in product design.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product ownership.
• Experience designing complex B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or AI-powered products.
• Experience taking at least one product from concept to launch (0-to-1).
• Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design.
• Ability to explain design decisions and their impact on user experience.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools for design, ideation, or prototyping, such as Claude, Figma AI, or similar tools.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and make decisions with minimal oversight.
• Comfort collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Ability to work on-site at the company's New York City office five days per week.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in fintech, accounting software, financial services, or AI products.
• Previous experience at a high-growth startup, ideally Series A through Series D.
• Experience designing products for enterprise users and complex professional workflows.
• Familiarity with design systems, AI-agent interfaces, and rapid prototyping.
• A strong sense of product quality, clean UI, and thoughtful interaction design.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end product design process, from research and early concepts through prototyping, testing, and launch.
• Design intuitive experiences for complex B2B SaaS, fintech, and AI-powered workflows.
• Develop interaction models that enable users and AI agents to collaborate effectively.
• Partner with product managers, engineers, and leadership to make product decisions and deliver solutions quickly.
• Build scalable UI components and contribute to a consistent design system as the product expands.
• Use AI-powered design and prototyping tools to accelerate exploration, iteration, and development.
• Develop a deep understanding of user workflows and translate insights into practical product improvements.
• Own design decisions and deliver high-quality work in a fast-moving, resource-constrained environment.
