The Baseball Research and Development team of the Los Angeles Dodgers is dedicated to building software applications and platforms that support analysis, scouting, player evaluation, and player development. The Product Designer works across research, analysis, visual design, and project coordination to support feature‑level product work. In this role, you will create high‑fidelity prototypes, build and document new design system components, and produce design materials such as personas and user summaries. You will meet with technical users to gather feedback, evaluate the ease of use of internal tools, and suggest practical improvements. You will also help maintain organized records of use cases and research findings so the team can make informed decisions. This role will share design decisions, take part in design meetings, and help keep projects on track by following the team’s established processes. You will also contribute to improving how the team approaches research, design, and testing. As part of your growth, you may review candidate portfolios and participate in interviews as needed. This position offers the unique opportunity to leverage design to increase the impact of baseball analytics, where the results of your work are visible on and off the field.
