Product Designer

TatariLos Angeles, CA
$120,000 - $160,000Hybrid

About The Position

Tatari is seeking a Product Designer to revolutionize TV advertising through AI and machine learning. The company has been recognized for its innovative platform and as a great place to work. This role focuses on designing user interfaces for reporting and custom-measurement features, making complex, multi-dimensional data easily understandable for customers. The designer will work within the Tatari Design System, contributing to its evolution while driving their own projects. The position offers a direct impact on delivering customer value and requires a strong understanding of user needs, interaction details, and data visualization.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years designing digital products, with a portfolio of shipped work.
  • Genuine data-visualization chops — ability to design a chart, table, or dashboard that is both accurate and easy to read.
  • A solid foundation in interface, interaction, and visual design, with growing accessibility fluency.
  • Fluency in Figma and prototyping.
  • A clear communicator who embraces feedback and collaboration.
  • Empathy for user needs, as well as stakeholder needs.
  • Care about interaction details — hover, focus, keyboard — as much as the high-fidelity comp.
  • Ability to translate raw, multi-dimensional information into interfaces that are intuitive without distorting the underlying data.
  • Think about edge cases and how a feature fits into the larger system, not just the screen in front of you.
  • Partner well with PMs and engineers to understand a system completely before you try to improve it.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience at a measurement, analytics, or data-heavy product company is ideal.
  • Experience with AI prototyping tools (e.g., Claude Design, Lovable, Cursor) a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Ship excellent product design, focusing on reporting and custom-measurement features from discovery through high-fidelity execution.
  • Work fluently within and contribute to the Tatari Design System.
  • Drive your own work with thorough, complete design work, holistic systems thinking, and evidence-backed decisions.
  • Translate the measurement roadmap and detailed requirements into product solutions in partnership with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders.
  • Dive into the discovery phase; run or assist with user interviews, usability tests, and other UX research methods.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, low and high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas at the right fidelity, including interaction details like hover, focus, and keyboard states.
  • Rationalize UX solutions with data, improve designs through user feedback, and thoughtfully question the status quo.
  • Understand technical functionality and constraints and iterate to meaningful solutions within them.
  • Contribute to the Tatari Design System; document parts of complex systems, share knowledge, and help onboard peers.
