About The Position

SolidWorks - PRODUCT DESIGNER, Manufacturing Position, Located in Ft. Worth, TX. This role involves creating and maintaining solid models and sales drawings of new products, as well as performing revisions to existing products based on customer or production requests. The position requires the ability to prioritize and manage workload to ensure timely completion of work, proactively communicating any schedule issues. The Product Designer will interface with other departments, vendors, and customers to resolve design-related problems and lead design reviews to evaluate the Design for Manufacturability of product designs. Additionally, the role supports estimating with accurate BOMs and timely responses to requests for information, ensuring smooth transitions to production through effective inter-departmental communication. The position also requires compliance with company policies and legal guidelines, maintaining a safe and orderly environment, and performing other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• 2+ years SolidWorks experience
• Experience within a manufacturing environment producing drawings for production strongly preferred.
• Proficient with MS office
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, urgency and professionalism.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work on multiple assignments and efficiently manage time and priorities.
• Wood/Metal/Plastic/Glass Manufacturing Industry experience

Nice To Haves

• Design and manufacture of Store Fixtures and Retail Displays a plus
