Texas Oncology – Ft Worth is seeking a full-time, team-oriented Medical Physicist (MS or PhD) to join our team. Requirements
- MS or PhD in Medical Physics.
- Current ABR certification or in the process of obtaining certification.
- Eligible for a Texas state license for medical physics.
- Working experience in a clinical environment.
- CAMPEP Accredited Residency Program in Medical Physics.
- Valid Texas Medical Board license or board eligible.
- American Board of Radiology certification or board eligible.
- Working knowledge of SRS, SBRT, and HDR.
- Experience with Varian linear accelerators.
- Strong organization and oral / written communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Eclipse treatment planning system.
- Oncentra treatment planning system.
- HDR planning and treatment.
- ARIA ROIS.
- SBRT and SRS procedures.
- Two years of experience as a certified medical physicist.
- Experience with Eclipse Planning system.
- Experience with Oncentra Planning system.
Responsibilities
- Provide a full range of clinical medical physics services in support of 9 community-based clinics.
- Support clinics in conjunction with 7 board-certified physicists.
- Perform external beam radiation therapy procedures.
- Perform HDR brachytherapy procedures.
- Utilize ARIA ROIS for treatment planning.
- Perform conventional and SRS treatment planning.
- Utilize SNC SunCheck.
