About the position
We are seeking a Product Designer to shape the visual identity and user experience of our payment app, Moby, as well as support our B2B efforts. The ideal candidate will be proactive, skilled in user-centered design principles, and capable of taking big ideas from conception to solution. Responsibilities include overseeing new user experiences, evaluating and recommending solutions, iterating on designs based on feedback, and creating consistent brand assets. This role requires staying up to date with design trends and emerging technologies.
Responsibilities
- Work with the product and engineering teams to oversee new user experiences from concept to launch
- Evaluate and recommend solutions that solve for current and future problems; anticipating edge cases
- Iterate on designs based on customer feedback and data-driven insights to continuously improve the experience
- Create, manage and maintain brand assets that are consistent across the customer’s journey; adapting to the needs of the marketing and product team as they ship
- In collaboration with the Product and Marketing team; run research, interviews or feedback sessions that help us better understand the problem space and adapt our products to customer needs
- Stay up to date with design trends, emerging technologies and best practices
Requirements
- Proactive and well-versed in solving complex problems with user-centered design principles
- Ability to take big ideas from conception to solution
- Experience in overseeing new user experiences from concept to launch
- Ability to evaluate and recommend solutions that solve for current and future problems
- Proficiency in iterating on designs based on customer feedback and data-driven insights
- Experience in creating, managing, and maintaining brand assets consistent across the customer's journey
- Ability to adapt brand assets to the needs of the marketing and product team
- Experience in running research, interviews, or feedback sessions to better understand the problem space and adapt products to customer needs
- Up-to-date knowledge of design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices

- Highly collaborative and hands-on approach to iterating on the product
- Experience in leading and managing a team of designers
- Previous experience in the FinTech space and understanding of navigating different stakeholder needs in design
- Previous experience with international audiences and ability to localize design systems as needed.
