Product Design Principal

This Product Design Principal role at Giant Machines involves contributing to the development of the product design practice, mentoring and advocating for the product design team, and working with other teams to build a cohesive, cross-functional team. The role also involves working with sales to win engagements that require product design expertise and providing leadership for new engagements. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in product design, deep experience in mentoring and growing a team, and experience in providing end-to-end digital product leadership.

• Contribute to crafting how a product design practice functions at Giant Machines.
• Advocate for and mentor the product design team and help them develop as product designers and project leaders.
• Be a product design ambassador and advocate - hosting product design seminars and presentations and developing new product design artifacts and frameworks with their team.
• Work closely with engineering, product, and strategy leaders and teams to build on our one team initiative - our desire for a cohesive, highly collaborative and cooperative, cross functional team.
