About The Position

The Product Analyst Co-Op collects, reviews, and models performance and reliability data related to LG Vertech’s energy storage products and installed fleet of Battery Energy Storage (BESS) systems. The role collects operational data from various sources within the organization, generates reports, and identifies opportunities and competitive advantages. Findings support demonstrating the value of long-term service agreements (LTSA) and extended warranties for grid-connected energy storage and AI Datacenter projects. The position is based on-site in Westborough, Massachusetts, and includes collaboration with users who interact directly with the products of interest.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Systems, or similar), Computer Science, Data Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
Experience with or strong interest in data visualization tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Nice To Haves

Coursework in energy systems, power systems, or renewable energy.
Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn about industrial energy storage equipment and product lifecycle planning.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze operational data and performance metrics of existing operational projects.
Interview users who directly interact with the products of interest.
Generate PowerPoint slides and presentation material.
Perform other duties as assigned.
