About The Position

LG Energy Solution Vertech, Inc. (LGES Vertech), a subsidiary of LG Energy Solution, provides grid-scale integrated energy storage systems. Its AEROS® energy operating system and monitoring and controls help customers optimize system performance and maximize the value of energy storage assets.

The Product Management Co-Op will gain hands-on product management experience while working with product managers and supporting product development. The role is based in Westborough, Massachusetts, and requires the ability to commute to the office. Travel of up to 10% is expected.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled at an accredited university and pursuing an MS in Electrical Engineering or an MBA with a technical focus.
• Proficiency in conveying complex technical concepts in simple terms.
• Experience with modern business intelligence tools for modeling and visualizing data.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues throughout the product development process.
• Desire to develop a deep understanding of products, customer concerns, and market requirements.
• Ability to collaborate across technical, financial, and operational functions.
• Ability to solve complex problems, assess risks, and present data-informed arguments.
• Adaptability to organizational needs and changes.
• Excellent organization, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to commute to the office in Westborough, Massachusetts.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

• Experience in software and hardware product development.

Responsibilities

• Extract quantitative insights from internal and external data sets.
• Evaluate design tradeoffs through financial modeling and demonstrate customer value propositions.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, service, data science, and sales teams to support product development and generate requirements.
• Assist with product documentation, including user guides, release notes, and FAQs.
• Participate in product testing and provide feedback to the development team.
• Monitor key performance indicators to gauge product success.
• Support the rollout of new products or features.
