About The Position

Vestmark is seeking students for its Spring Semester Co-op Program. The program provides a full-time experience in which interns join the Business Process Outsourcing (VOS) teams and learn and work under the guidance of an experienced manager. Each intern is assigned a mentor and can participate in scheduled intern events, select Vestmark training sessions, and company social events. The role offers professional experience through client-support work in a small-company, dynamic work environment.

This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in the office at Vestmark’s headquarters in Wakefield, Massachusetts. Fully remote work will not be considered. Hourly compensation ranges from $18 to $20, with the specific rate determined by academic year level. Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited college.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college.
• At least two years of coursework completed toward a bachelor's degree in computer science, business, finance, and/or marketing is ideal.
• Strong analytical reasoning.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team on multiple overlapping projects.
• Self-motivation and strong communication skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to work in the office three days per week at Vestmark’s headquarters in Wakefield, Massachusetts; fully remote work is not considered.

Responsibilities

• Learn the processes of various teams, sponsor relationships, and vendor systems used to support client-managed accounts.
• Perform account-level reconciliations of cash, positions, transactions, and tax lots.
• Perform account maintenance, including new account setup, terminations, contributions and withdrawals, and tax harvesting.
• Review and validate performance returns by account and client.
• Support corporate actions processing, including mandatory and voluntary events.
• Support security master activity, including new security setup and pricing updates.
• Manage client expectations through excellent communication.
• Partner with internal departments to deliver superior customer service.
• Collaborate with the team and sponsors to resolve exceptions.
• Participate in special projects as needed to accommodate new products and platforms.
