About The Position

Vellox Product Account Executive The Opportunity: Join Booz Allen's Enterprise Product team and drive the growth of advanced cybersecurity software and mission technology solutions across the federal market. In this role, you will generate net-new revenue by positioning the Vellox platform with federal civilian, defense, intelligence, and other government customers seeking to modernize their cyber operations, strengthen mission resilience, and accelerate secure digital transformation. You will lead complex federal software sales opportunities from early-stage prospecting and qualification through procurement, negotiation, and close. Working with CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, mission owners, program executives, acquisition leaders, and contracting stakeholders, you will translate customer cyber priorities into platform-based solutions spanning cybersecurity, AI, data, cloud, edge, autonomy, and digital modernization. You will build strategic account plans, develop qualified pipelines, expand annual recurring revenue, and navigate federal acquisition processes, contract vehicles, partner ecosystems, and multi-stakeholder buying environments. Your work will help government organizations adopt scalable cyber software capabilities that improve operational effectiveness, protect critical missions, and support long-term technology modernization. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience selling enterprise software or technology solutions, including direct sales and channel-supported sales motions
  • Experience selling platform solutions such as cybersecurity software, SaaS, cloud, AI, or data to federal government customers
  • Experience generating net-new revenue and exceeding sales targets in a complex enterprise or federal technology sales environment
  • Experience developing pipeline through prospecting, account penetration, partner engagement, and territory planning
  • Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales opportunities from qualification through procurement and close
  • Experience selling to federal CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, mission owners, program executives, acquisition leaders, or contracting stakeholders
  • Experience applying MEDDICC, mutual action plans, or another structured enterprise sales methodology
  • Knowledge of federal procurement processes, budget cycles, acquisition pathways, and contract vehicles
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
  • HS diploma or GED

  • Knowledge of federal security, compliance, authorization, and risk management requirements
  • Knowledge of AI and machine learning, cloud, data, edge, autonomy, and digital transformation capabilities
  • Possession of excellent consultative selling, negotiation, forecasting, territory planning, and executive communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Generate net-new federal software revenue through proactive prospecting, account penetration, territory development, and strategic capture activities.
  • Build and execute account plans focused on federal cybersecurity priorities, qualified pipeline growth, annual recurring revenue, platform adoption, and customer expansion.
  • Lead the full sales lifecycle for complex cybersecurity software and platform opportunities, from opportunity identification and qualification through procurement, negotiation, and close.
  • Position the Vellox platform as a mission-enabling cybersecurity software solution across cyber operations, zero trust, threat detection and response, AI, data, cloud, edge, autonomy, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Translate agency mission requirements, cyber strategies, compliance needs, and modernization priorities into compelling platform value propositions and business cases.
  • Navigate federal procurement processes, appropriations cycles, contract vehicles, acquisition pathways, and partner-led sales motions.
  • Apply MEDDICC, mutual action plans, or another structured sales methodology to manage large, complex, multi-stakeholder federal opportunities.
  • Coordinate with capture, contracts, legal, product, engineering, alliance, delivery, and leadership teams to advance opportunities and reduce barriers to purchase.
  • Collaborate with strategic technology partners, resellers, systems integrators, and federal channel partners to expand market access and accelerate customer adoption.
  • Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback to inform product strategy, federal go-to-market priorities, partner investments, and platform roadmaps.
