About The Position

Provides fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to Price Chopper customers. Performs produce merchandising tasks, including stocking, pricing, inventory, and special orders. Ensures displayed products are fresh and of high quality, and accurately fulfills customer special orders and deliveries. The pay range is $18.00–$20.95.

Responsibilities

Provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service, including smiling, making eye contact, and thanking customers.
Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
Prepare produce for display; stock and price products; and make special produce platters to order.
Ensure displayed products are fresh and high quality; remove substandard products and report them to the Produce Manager or first clerk.
Rotate and inspect perishable products to ensure proper quality, code, and condition.
Follow company policy and corporate and state sanitation and safety regulations.
Work in other departments for training or as required.
Accurately fulfill customer special orders, including vegetable and fruit platters.
Replenish bulk food displays, including island and wall displays.
Operate produce equipment, including product weight scales, juice machines, and pineapple machines.
Control shrink by following related policies and procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management and follow company policies and procedures.
