About The Position

This seasonal, hourly Produce Merchandiser position builds and maintains attractive product displays to promote products, attract customers, and help the department meet sales and profit goals. The position is entry level and requires no prior experience. Work availability must include early mornings, with a 4 a.m. start time, and weekends.

The role requires frequent walking, squatting, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 80 pounds. It may also occasionally involve working outside and exposure to weather such as extreme heat or rain.

Responsibilities

• Take product inventory to determine the quantity needed.
• Remove expired or damaged products.
• Package and label products.
• Maintain proper rotation of perishable food items.
• Ensure proper signage is posted and visible.
• Adhere to health, sanitation, and safety regulations.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
• Build and maintain product displays that promote products and attract customers.
