About The Position

The Produce Clerk helps maintain an efficient, well-organized produce area and provides customers with information about produce. The role involves delivering exceptional customer service, receiving and organizing products, keeping department shelves and aisles clean, and helping in other areas as needed to support store operations. The position requires continuous walking and standing throughout the shift, lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lifting up to 75 pounds. The listed pay scale is $16.90 to $19.30; individual pay is determined by factors including skills, relevant experience, and education or training.

Requirements

• Produce or grocery experience is desirable.
• Customer service experience is desirable.
• Ability to walk continuously throughout the day while moving around the store and obtaining products from the warehouse.
• Ability to stand continuously throughout the shift while stocking products.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service and ensure the freshest product is available to customers.
• Answer customer inquiries and help customers locate items throughout the produce department.
• Receive product deliveries and verify item accuracy.

• Help in any area as needed to support store operations.
