About The Position

As the Produce-Floral Manager, you lead department inventory management, pricing integrity, and operational processes requiring significant attention to detail. The role is fast-paced and calls for efficiency, effectiveness, and a passion for excellence. You help deliver an exceptional guest experience while maintaining product quality and department performance. You also lead, coach, and train team members to provide excellent guest service safely and securely. The position requires schedule flexibility, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of progressive management experience in supermarkets, retail, restaurants, hotels, or general business.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
• Proven ability to deliver an exceptional guest experience while achieving performance goals.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Basic proficiency with POS systems, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Food safety certification, or ability to obtain it after hire.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree in business, retail management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in grocery, fresh food retail, hospitality, or a high-volume specialty retail environment.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and financial reporting.
• Bilingual skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and proactively provide friendly, accurate, and timely service recommendations while accommodating special requests.
• Manage order guides and ordering deadlines, and reduce shrink and damage.
• Receive and stock goods properly, following rotation standards when replenishing product levels.
• Direct team members in handling, slicing, and preparing specialty produce, fruit and vegetable platters or trays, and Convenient Meal Solutions throughout the day while maintaining product quality levels according to company standards.
• Engage, motivate, coach, and train team members on the job and through the company's internal training platform.
• Help ensure excellent guest service is delivered in a safe and secure manner.
