Under direct supervision, this position assists the project or non-project Material Management or Procurement team with the procurement of engineered equipment, materials, and supplies within established Material Management Plans, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
- A combination of education and directly related experience equal to four (4) years
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
- Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or equivalent appropriate General Certificates of Secondary Education or global equivalent
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, and electronic presentation programs
Responsibilities
- Perform administrative duties as required
- Organize and maintain files, and maintain tracking data and reports
- Review technical packages received from Engineering; ensure correct documents are processed according to prescribed methods
- May be required to update the approved material management reference system for buyers
- Issue weekly/monthly reports, as assigned
- Maintain Cash Flow reports
- Other duties as assigned
