Responsibilities

Create, manage, and follow up on purchase orders in SAP.
Monitor inventory levels, shortages, replenishment requirements, and supplier lead times.
Coordinate suppliers, warehouses, transportation providers, operations, and finance.
Maintain traceability from purchasing requirements through delivery, receipt, and invoice validation.
Review goods receipts, invoice discrepancies, and GR/IR activity.
Negotiate pricing, lead times, freight terms, and service levels with suppliers and carriers.
Analyze purchasing, freight, and logistics costs and identify opportunities for improvement.
Manage relationships with suppliers, carriers, warehouses, and 3PL providers.
Track supplier performance, delivery issues, quality incidents, and recurring operational problems.
Support forecasting, inventory planning, and the development of more predictable purchasing processes.
Communicate clearly with management regarding shortages, delays, supplier risks, and cost deviations.
