About The Position

Reports directly to the Director of Supply Chain on all matters. The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the receiving process of materials and supplies.

Requirements

  • College Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2+ years of Work Experience in a Manufacturing Coordination Role
  • Knowledge of ERP is an asset
  • On site, Office setting
  • Work environment requires wearing PPE in certain other locations
  • Flexible to work overtime as required
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and able to commute daily to the office

Responsibilities

  • Communication order acknowledgement once order has been received
  • Receive incoming shipments of materials and supplies, verifying quantities and inspecting for quality and accuracy
  • Collaborate with vendors and carriers to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely and accurate deliveries
  • Maintain accurate records of received materials, including packing slips, purchase orders, and other relevant documentation
  • Input data not the inventory management system and keep electronic and hardcopy records up to date
  • Report and document any damaged or non-complaint items and work with the appropriate departments to address issues
  • Work closely with Production and Warehouse department to prioritize materials and ensure a smooth flow of goods
  • Process all customer orders via telephone and email
  • Consistently update all spreadsheets with any information provided by different sources
  • Sort and organize any paperwork to ensure data is not lost
  • Create purchasing orders when needed
  • Review paperwork for data deficiencies
  • Any other tasks assigned by the Director of Supply Chain
