About The Position

AtkinsRéalis Canada Inc is recruiting a Procurement Advisor to join its procurement team. Your role will involve initiating, issuing, and administering purchase orders and contracts in accordance with established procedures. You will ensure that all required supplier documentation is in place and verify that purchase orders are acknowledged and accepted by suppliers. Additionally, you will provide support to project managers and engineers by guiding them through the appropriate procedures for preparing contracts, purchase orders, and related documentation. You will also prepare formal amendments or change orders for approved changes, and manage, prepare, issue, and monitor change requests. A key part of this role is working collaboratively with the Finance Department to reconcile invoices.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years purchasing or procurement experience is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP Ariba/Oracle ERP systems, proficient in use of MS Office products such as, Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
  • Dedicated team player with well-established interpersonal and client-facing skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimum supervision.
  • Bilingual in English and French.
  • This position requires knowledge of a language other than French, namely English, as it involves collaboration with members of the Canadian or global leadership team located outside Québec.

Responsibilities
