About The Position

The Processor performs part preparation operations before chemical treatment and post-processing cleaning operations for metallic parts at Zenix Aerospace Ketema, a manufacturer of complex fabrications and machined components from titanium and nickel alloys. The position works from travelers and written instructions and involves handling parts and equipment in accordance with safety and work procedures.

Requirements

Ability to read blueprints and engineering specifications.
Knowledge of hand tools and portable power tools.
One to three years of general work experience.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Load and unload racks for cleaning, pickling, etching, degreasing, and similar treatment of metal parts.
Steam-clean parts using high-pressure steam and hand-wipe parts using solvents.
Tend tanks during processing time.
Operate labeling, weighing, and sealing machines.
Work from travelers and written instructions to accomplish assigned work.
Observe and follow safety requirements, including wearing earplugs and respirators when required.
Maintain a clean work area and ensure proper handling of tools and equipment.
Arrive at work on time, follow supervisor directions, interact well with coworkers, follow work rules and procedures, comply with corporate policies, goals, and objectives, accept constructive feedback, establish goals and objectives, and demonstrate initiative and commitment.
Use knowledge to recommend improvements to parts, materials, processes, and procedures used in processing.
