About The Position

Select Sires Inc. is seeking candidates to join their team as a Processing Technician. This is an hourly, non-exempt position located at their Plain City, OH facility. The role reports to the Manager Non-EU Semen Packaging and Cryopreservation. The company is an industry leader in providing farmers and ranchers with the world's best genetics, services, and programs, aiming to maximize the productivity, profitability, and sustainability of livestock producers.

Responsibilities

Serve as a positive representation of the Select Sires, Inc. Mission and Core Values.
Use jet print system to print bull and collection data onto straws.
Fill, seal, rack, freeze, and store straws.
Update inventory using proprietary software.
Move product to appropriate storage location.
Maintain liquid nitrogen levels in storage tanks and shipping containers.
Move large inventory tanks.
Detect and report defective material or questionable conditions to the packaging supervisor.
Maintain work area and equipment in clean, orderly condition.
Follow prescribed protocols and safety regulations.
