About The Position

Select Sires Inc. is seeking candidates to join their team as a Processing Technician. This hourly, non-exempt position is located at their Plain City, OH facility and reports to the Manager Non-EU Semen Packaging and Cryopreservation. The role involves serving as a positive representation of the Select Sires, Inc. Mission and Core Values, and requires adherence to prescribed protocols and safety regulations. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with potential for changes to meet departmental needs.

Previous experience working with liquid nitrogen

Responsibilities

Use jet print system to print bull and collection data onto straws.
Fill, seal, rack, freeze, and store straws.
Update inventory using proprietary software.
Move product to appropriate storage location.
Maintain liquid nitrogen levels in storage tanks and shipping containers.
Move large inventory tanks.
Detect and report defective material or questionable conditions to the packaging supervisor.
Maintain work area and equipment in clean, orderly condition.
Follow prescribed protocols and safety regulations.
