Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of mechanical and/or technical experience in manufacturing or related industry
- Ability to work rotating 8-hour shifts
- Must possess the ability to understand and effectively communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and others in the workplace regarding work matters (our business is generally conducted in English)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, push, pull, and twist for extended periods
- Willingness to work in hot, cold, noisy, wet, or dusty conditions
- Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms
- Ability to follow human and food safety, quality, and grooming standards
- Ability to wear such as protective clothing and equipment (Personal Protective Equipment -PPE) such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard/bump cap, hair/beard net, gloves, and face masks (when required)
- Ability to work around high-speed machinery and food allergens
Nice To Haves
- Manufacturing or production experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist miller by providing process system support, including learning and performing processing positions and equipment operation
- Perform sanitation, cleaning and maintaining all processing areas
- Performing Wheat house start-up and shutdown on A/B & C mills
- Performing preventative and reactive maintenance activities on milling equipment and assist maintenance as needed
- Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase platform performance
- Assist in training new employees
- Assist other plant areas as assigned

- $26.72/hour starting pay
- $0.55/hour additional pay for 2nd shift & 3rd shift
- Up to 120 hours (15 days) vacation annually (depending on schedule)
