About The Position

The role of the processing technician includes performing regular operations such as sand blasting, deburring parts, cleaning, painting, and plating. The technician is responsible for organizing and maintaining parts, equipment, and media, and ensuring all necessary documentation is reviewed. They will set up and adjust equipment as trained, maintain accurate parts counts, fill out router information and certification documents, perform testing procedures to ensure quality standards, and maintain accurate records. A safe, clean, and orderly work area is also expected.

Requirements

• Applicant must be ITAR compliant.
• Ability to acquire proficient knowledge of deburring, de-oiling and dry blast methods utilizing appropriate equipment.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to work with a number sequence.

Responsibilities

• Performs regular operations such as sand blasting, deburring parts, cleaning, painting, plating.
• Organizes and maintains parts, equipment, and media (tumble/blast) necessary to complete assigned jobs.
• Checks all available documentation (travelers, special instructions, etc.).
• Sets up and adjusts equipment as trained and in accordance with established specifications.
• Maintains accurate parts counts and fills in router information accurately.
• Fills out appropriate certification documents/travelers.
• Performs testing procedures on parts to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintains accurate records for processing.
• Maintains a safe, clean and orderly work area.
