About The Position

Reliant Holdings is the largest privately held CO2 related family of companies in North America. With over 30 years experience in the capture, purification and production of CO2 for use in a wide range of industries. You'll start by reviewing the day's production priorities with the Plant Manager and confirming your workstation is clean, organized, and ready. Throughout the 6:00am-6:00pm shift, you'll rotate through packaging and material movement activities while keeping a steady pace and maintaining attention to detail. You'll regularly verify product presentation and packaging consistency, complete routine housekeeping between runs, and stay alert to cold-environment conditions. The day ends with area clean-up, basic documentation/communication on what was completed, and preparing the line for the next shift. The Processing - Ice Operator provides hands-on support to produce and pack solid CO2 (dry ice) in forms that meet customer specifications. This role reports to the Plant Manager and is scheduled for shift work from 6:00am to 6:00pm.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift 60 lb. dry ice blocks from chest height to the floor about every 80 seconds for a 12-hour shift (breaks included).
  • Ability to learn and follow proper handling of carbon dioxide in all three physical states, including approved containers, storage, transport, and distribution methods.
  • Ability to follow all safety and quality policies and procedures.
  • Ability to complete general clean-up tasks such as sweeping, washing, painting, and trash removal.
  • Criminal history check required.
  • Screening for alcohol and illegal drug use required for tentatively selected candidates.
  • Screening for ability to perform essential functions of some positions may be required.

  • Experience using a pallet jack/forklift.
