About The Position

This position analyzes carrier freight bills for rating accuracy along with processing weekly customer invoicing for assigned accounts. It involves communicating with multiple departments to increase the accuracy of automated processes and fostering a culture centered on quality work, team and individual personal and professional success while maintaining the highest standards of conduct and ethics. The applicant must be a detailed-oriented, self-starter with a strong work ethic.

Requirements

BS/BA degree in business or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3 years' experience
Basic freight rate knowledge
A high level of ability with spreadsheets and other analytical tools
A strong desire to succeed
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common financial reports and legal documents
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community
Ability to effectively present information to clients and management
Ability to apply business and accounting mathematics
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
Ability to understand and act upon verbal and written instructions

Responsibilities

Review weekly freight bills for assigned clients
Trouble-shoot and resolve issues with freight bills in an “audit” status
Communicate direct with carrier personnel on carrier issues
Process weekly/monthly invoices to customers
Communicate directly with customers for customer issues
Make customer satisfaction the primary "driver" for successful quality processes with internal and external teams
Ensure issues are addressed immediately and appropriate parties are informed for on-time and proper resolution
Provide client feedback to the organization
Coordinate with other company departments where processes touch those groups
Develop a working understanding of the internal technologies required for daily functions
Continuously seek out opportunities to improve current processes
Other duties as assigned
