About The Position

The University of Arkansas is seeking a Process & Workflow Administrator to be responsible for creating and maintaining a centralized Dashboard with multiple workspace environments and providing user support across college administrative units (including but not limited to finance, HR, IT, and grants management). This role involves designing, testing, and implementing customized workspace environments with versatile workflows and task automations to streamline business processes throughout the college. The administrator will manage data, establish approval chains, create reports and forms, maintain security controls, develop training materials, communicate updates, and resolve user incidents. Additionally, the position requires working with Smartsheet developers for enhancements and providing support to departmental/unit level users to troubleshoot issues. Regular, reliable attendance and the ability to maintain positive working relationships are essential job duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field from an accredited institution of higher education.
  • Experience using accounting principles.
  • Experience with computer programming or designing and implementing computerized workflows.
  • Demonstrated success working in and supporting a team-oriented approach to providing services, troubleshooting issues and strategic planning.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with a high degree of energy, initiative, and organizational ability.
  • Strong character value of teamwork, service orientation, establishing and maintaining relationships, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in information systems, information technology, computer science, or other IT-related field from an accredited institution of higher education.
  • Direct experience and use of Smartsheet.
  • Experience with accounting and financial management at the University of Arkansas or another institution of higher education.

Responsibilities

  • Creating and maintaining a centralized Dashboard with multiple workspace environments.
  • Providing user support across college administrative units (finance, HR, IT, and grants management).
  • Designing, testing, and implementing customized workspace environments with versatile workflows and task automations.
  • Streamlining business processes throughout the college.
  • Adding, removing, and managing data (including MOU’s and contracts).
  • Establishing process approval chains.
  • Creating reports and forms.
  • Maintaining security controls and user access.
  • Developing tutorials, reference guides, and other relevant materials to train new and current users.
  • Communicating updates and new developments as they are rolled out.
  • Resolving incidents and providing user support.
  • Working with Smartsheet developers to implement enhancements.
  • Providing support to departmental/unit level users, understanding their experience, and helping problem solve and troubleshoot.
  • Manipulating items with fingers, including keyboarding.
