About The Position

SAIC is seeking a Process Systems Engineer for the Air Operations Center Weapons System (AOC WS) Falconer Program. The role drives optimization, continuous improvement, and systems-level thinking across enterprise programs, with a focus on engineering lifecycle management, business process re-engineering, and translating stakeholder requirements. It involves systems engineering and configuration management, mission planning and scheduling, and the sustainment of existing baselines. The engineer will analyze data normalization and standardization, data integrity, and workflows, and will interact directly with customers, contractors, and working groups. The position provides modification and sustaining engineering design and analysis to support fielded AOC WS baselines. The engineer reviews Government requirements, design documentation, plans, procedures, and execution; supports management of the Government Product Lifecycle Management Tool (PLMT) and other approved lifecycle tools; and helps ensure tools used to design, develop, integrate, and test baseline releases are integrated with the Government’s approved tools. The role applies Lean and Six Sigma principles and systems-thinking methods to connect business operations with technical capabilities. The successful candidate works independently, represents SAIC and the program in meetings, and communicates systems engineering requirements effectively to software development teams. This is a full-time, on-site day-shift position in Hampton, Virginia. Travel is not required. An active Secret clearance is required. The target salary range is $80,001–$120,000, depending on experience and other factors. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis with no deadline.
