About The Position

This is a course for the 2027 Winter Semester, offered online only. The course is Process Modelling, Mining, and Automation, with code DTO 6231 and section . It is a 3-credit course with an expected enrollment of 30 students. The language of instruction is English, with passive competence in a second language required. The course schedule is Tuesdays from 19:00 to 22:00. The hiring process will be governed by the current APTPUO collective agreements.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Digital Transformation and Innovation, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • At least three years of industry experience demonstrating mastery of current practice and theory in all aspects of process modelling (including BPMN), process mining, and process automation (RPA, BPMS, low code).
  • Experience with process mining tools required.

Nice To Haves

  • PhD and academic publications in the field are assets.
  • Experience with apromore an asset.
  • Experience in post-secondary teaching and/or professional development instruction preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Process Modelling, Mining, and Automation (DTO 6231) online during the 2027 Winter Semester.
