About The Position
Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Mechanic (Tech 4 or Higher) for its Carlin Process Maintenance department. The role maintains processing facilities by troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding processing equipment. Requirements
- Three or more years of process facilities maintenance experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and write and possess basic math skills.
- Proven excellent safety and attendance record.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild processing equipment, including crushers, conveyor systems, hydraulic systems, pumps, and motors within processing facilities.
- Replace and align belts, motors, pulleys, and conveyor rollers.
- Perform various types of welding and other maintenance associated with processing facilities.
