About The Position

The Process Machine Operator- Floater is a backup role to the Production Coordinator and production lead as needed. This position is responsible for product and machine rebuilds, changeovers, quality checks, cleaning-in-place (CIP), and making continuous improvement recommendations. The role is located at the Elizabethtown, PA facility which manufactures DOVE Chocolate. The shift is 3rd (Nights) from Sunday night to Friday, 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with flexibility required based on business needs. The pay is based on experience, starting at $25.40/hour plus a $1.50 shift premium.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent education
  • 3+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Basic analytical and mathematical skills
  • Proficient using laptops, iPads, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Email, etc.)
  • Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)
  • Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.
  • Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces.
  • Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours
  • Capable of working in hot, cold and wet conditions
  • Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.

Responsibilities

  • Back up to the Production Coordinator and Production lead as needed
  • Ensure operational efficiency, conformance to standards, product quality and drive continuous improvement
  • Responsible for the efficient production of quality products
  • Operate, monitor, and perform changeover and rebuilds on machinery
  • Train and assist other associates as needed, supporting Production Coordinators and the Maintenance team
  • Maintain accurate records of quality checks and keep detailed logbooks
  • Any ad hoc requests
