About The Position

The Process Improvement Team Specialist supports the effective administration and continuous improvement of operational processes across Planstin Administration. Working collaboratively with departments throughout the organization, this position assists with group administration, renewals, billing, vendor coordination, member servicing, and other operational functions to ensure processes are completed accurately and efficiently. This position requires a proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working in a dynamic environment. The PIT Specialist is expected to learn new systems and processes quickly, take ownership of assigned responsibilities, identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to solutions that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and the overall effectiveness of Planstin’s operations.

  • Comfort working with data, documents, and multi-step administrative workflows

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in benefits administration, TPA operations, group health, or a similar high-volume environment
  • Working knowledge of Employee Navigator or a comparable benefits platform
  • Experience with group setup, renewals, invoices/billing, ID cards, vendor QA, or claims/underwriting data
  • Experience documenting processes or helping improve them

Responsibilities

  • Partner with every department at Planstin to support day-to-day administration and process improvement
  • Look for gaps, errors, delays, and workarounds, then help fix the process so the same issue does not keep coming back
  • Learn new systems, workflows, and group setups as the job continues to change
  • Create and edit groups in QC and Employee Navigator (ENav)
  • Navigate Employee Navigator fluently for group maintenance, enrollments, and related administration
  • Support plan enrollments and group configuration with a high standard of accuracy
  • Review data for renewals
  • Create renewal letters and support plan enrollment communications
  • Handle invoice and billing management
  • Coordinate ID card sending
  • Review underwriting and claims data as needed for renewals and group work
  • Communicate with vendors and complete quality checks so members are serviced correctly
  • Follow issues through to resolution and flag patterns that need a process change
