About The Position

The Process Improvement Specialist will play a critical role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of their assigned areas/departments. This position is responsible for analyzing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to optimize performance, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Three (3) years of direct experience in process improvement related to optimizing business processes or strategies.
  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
  • Ability to work well under high stress conditions.
  • Ability to work independently or cooperatively as a team member.
  • Ability to adapt to various workloads and assignments.
  • Ability to work with multi-disciplinary groups and facilitates meetings.
  • Must have reading and comprehension ability.
  • Must be able to type.
  • Possess good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Must have independent decision-making ability.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment must be flexible.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.

Nice To Haves

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • Familiarity with Epic Systems.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate, map, design, and create business process flows to identify process improvement opportunities and eliminate waste.
  • Support initiatives that drive quality, cost, productivity and service delivery projects to completion using process improvement methodologies.
  • Gather and analyze data to understand process performance and identify trends.
  • Develop and propose innovative solutions to improve process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead the implementation of process improvement initiatives, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Monitor the performance of implemented solutions and make necessary adjustments to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of process improvements.
  • Provide training and support to staff on new processes and improvements.
  • Prepare and present reports on process improvement initiatives and outcomes to senior management.
  • Demonstrate a strong desire to learn new concepts, tools and business practices and following through on tasks and assignments.
