Process Improvement Specialist
About The Position
Centene is seeking a Process Improvement Specialist to identify and implement enterprise-wide process improvement activities utilizing LEAN/Six Sigma, Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) or similar methodologies to support business infrastructure and procurement of new business opportunities. This role plays a crucial part in connecting people to the care they need to live healthier lives, making a real impact every day. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of LEAN, Six Sigma or similar process improvement experience.
- Previous working knowledge of process mapping and design.
- Previous working knowledge of statistical applications.
- Previous working knowledge of project management software.
Nice To Haves
- Previous healthcare experience.
- Six Sigma Green Belt.
- LEAN/Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
- CAPM-PMI - Certified Associate of Project Management certification.
- Black Belt certification.
- PMP certification.
Responsibilities
- Support the development, prioritization and execution of performance improvement projects utilizing LEAN/Six Sigma, PDSA or similar methodologies for all process improvements.
- Assist with the implementation and training of functional areas regarding process engineering maintenance plans and staff trainings to improve effectiveness.
- Collect, monitor and evaluate project key performance metrics and develop project status reports.
- Facilitate cross functional improvement teams following DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze Improve Control) roadmap or similar improvement process.
- Communicate gaps in process designs and implementations to upper management.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
