About The Position

PepsiCo is undertaking a significant transformation with the deployment of the PepsiCo Global Template (PGT), an enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA solution. To support this initiative, a North America Supplier Center of Excellence (NASCOE) has been established to centralize, standardize, and enhance the management of supplier data across PGT and legacy systems. The Continuous Improvement Analyst will play a crucial role in providing testing support for processes and improvements within the North America supplier domain. This position demands meticulous attention to detail, a drive for efficiency, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams to ensure the comprehensive success of our solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in process improvement within CPG industry
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools (ex. Excel, PowerBI)
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Strong project management skills, including project planning and execution
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with supplier master data preferred
  • Experience working with SAP MDG and SAP S4 preferred

Responsibilities

  • Execute MDG Supplier CR and workflow testing.
  • Execute manual and automated test cases.
  • Perform various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
  • Ensure that all test activities are carried out in accordance with the test plan.
  • Identify, track, and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Work with development teams to reproduce issues and provide detailed information for resolution.
  • Retest resolved issues to ensure defects are corrected and no new defects are introduced.
  • Collaborate with NASCOE to create detailed test plans and test cases based on requirements and business cases.
  • Ensure that test cases cover all expected requirements including edge cases.
  • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive understanding of the requirements.
  • Provide regular updates on testing progress, defects, and risks.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports.
  • Ensure that all testing artifacts are stored in a centralized repository and are easily accessible.
  • Suggest improvements to testing processes and methodologies.
  • Understand how PepsiCo uses data across sectors and business units.
  • Engage with teams across the organization to understand business processes and practices to ensure development meets improvement goals.
  • Communicate progress, results, and insights to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Participate in retrospectives and contribute to process improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, techniques, and industry trends.
  • Other duties as assigned.
