To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we’re looking to add a Process Engineer Intern located in our Northfield, MN site. Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, the student will assist with daily engineering tasks while learning, collaborating and working alongside Engineers and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled undergrad pursuing degree in Electrical/Manufacturing Engineer or related major
  • Available to work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignment
  • Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
  • 3.0 minimum GPA

Responsibilities

  • Reviews project instructions and blueprints to ascertain test specifications, procedures, objectives, test equipment, nature of technical problem and possible solutions such as part redesign, substitution of material or parts or rearrangement of parts or subassemblies.
  • Maintains software, documentation and equipment to the latest revision or operational specifications.
  • Assists engineers in developing and designing hardware and software required to test customer products per their specifications.
  • Trains technicians and operators on products, processes and equipment.
  • Assist with the development and delivery of customer presentations and interface with customers.
  • Partner with engineers on outside third party developments
  • Organize documentation (specifications, schematics, and procedures)
  • Perform tests per customer specifications and requirements
  • Attend team meetings and support project work as needed
