As a Process Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to support production operations, new product introductions (NPI), process improvements, and manufacturing documentation. This role is designed for recent engineering graduates who are eager to develop technical expertise and gain hands-on experience in advanced manufacturing and data center technology solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Recent graduate or up to 2 years of engineering experience through internships, co-ops, or full-time employment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis techniques.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Willingness to work on the production floor and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Support manufacturing operations by assisting with the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of production processes.
Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including documentation review, process validation, and production readiness assessments.
Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including: Work Instructions, Process Flow Diagrams, Routing Configuration, Assembly Procedures, Packaging Instructions.
Assist with Bill of Materials (BOM) validation and shop floor manufacturing system setup.
Analyze production performance data and identify opportunities for efficiency, quality, and throughput improvements.
Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities for manufacturing and quality issues.
Support Engineering Change Order (ECO) and Engineering Change Notice (ECN) implementation activities.
Conduct time studies and assist with labor and capacity planning analyses.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Test Engineering, and Program Management teams to support production goals.
Support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
Present project updates and improvement recommendations to engineering and operations teams.
Travel occasionally to other Hyve locations for training, project support, or business needs.
