Process Engineer Intern (Year-Round)

About The Position

Provide technical support to operations by spending time on the floor learning processes, troubleshooting, and leading and/or participating on multiple process improvement teams. This is a year-round internship with a flexible schedule during the academic year (15-20 hours/week) and full-time during the summer (40 hours/week). The intern will investigate, evaluate, and develop project estimates for operational business challenges, design solutions using AutoCAD (SolidWorks) and 3D printing, and manage process data collection and analysis. The program offers mentorship, professional development, networking opportunities, and signature experiences like Intern Kickoff Day, volunteer opportunities, professional development workshops, and the Intern Summer Showcase.

Requirements

Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Engineering or a related field with current status of at least a Sophomore level.
Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Ability to succeed in a team environment.
Ability to handle multiple tasks.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
AutoCAD experience.

Responsibilities
