About The Position

Metallus is seeking a Process Control Engineering Intern to join their team for the Summer 2027 program. This internship is designed to provide valuable real-world experience in a team environment, allowing interns to grow their skills, develop as leaders, and network with managers and leaders. The program also includes career readiness development through workshops and offers a casual work environment. Metallus is an industry leader in manufacturing steel for various markets.

Requirements

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
  • Must have completed 30 or more credit hours by the end of the spring 2027 semester
  • Must be a full-time student attending an accredited two-year or four-year college/university

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred majors: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related

Responsibilities

  • Work with internal customers to determine control system changes as needed
  • Create new programs to help accomplish business goals
  • Test and debug new or existing code
  • Develop and maintain SQL databases
  • Document control system equipment and functionality
