About The Position

Eichleay is seeking a licensed architect to support integrated architectural and engineering projects for industrial and facility clients. The role is intended for a California-licensed architect with approximately five or more years of experience who can lead architectural production, coordinate across disciplines, and manage multiple moderate-size assignments or defined portions of larger, complex projects. The Process Architect works with engineers, designers, project leaders, clients, consultants, and vendors to translate operational, process, safety, code, and accessibility requirements into practical, constructible design solutions. The position is remote, with occasional visits to California facilities, and is expected to last approximately six months or longer. Work is generally performed in an office or client-office environment and may involve travel to operating facilities and industrial or construction sites. Overtime, including occasional weekend or holiday work, may be required based on project demands. Depending on the assignment, client-specific training or credentials may be required.

  • Experience gathering existing-condition information at operating facilities and active construction sites.
  • Experience preparing scopes, budgets, schedules, proposals, and architectural specifications.
  • Experience directing work performed by designers, drafters, consultants, or design-assist partners.

  • Lead building surveys, existing-condition documentation, programming, and design studies.
  • Develop and coordinate architectural models, drawings, and construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD.
