About The Position

This position involves limited supervision and is responsible for designing, modifying, and evaluating a specific product or a group of products. The role encompasses everything from product definition and planning through production, process testing, and release. You will develop new or modified process formulations and must exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to achieve results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Communications, or equivalent experience.
  • Two (2) to four (4) + years of work experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
  • Strong Customer Relations skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of CAD drawings and designs behind products.
  • Thorough understanding of the Ebara toolset and usage of the latest generation consumables from various suppliers.
  • Working knowledge of CMP polishing equipment, process consumables, and associated metrology equipment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate and work effectively with internal colleagues and customers.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work on problems of diverse scopes where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of identifiable factors.
  • Define processing or handling equipment requirements and specifications, and review processing techniques and methods.
  • Review product requirements with design staff to ensure compatibility with processing methods.
  • Research and understand industry trends and the direction of technology for future technology nodes.
  • Understand the latest market of consumable suppliers and the usage of these to meet customer or industry process requirements.
  • Develop test plans, generate process data, and evaluate test data to determine appropriate limits and variables to meet process, design, or material specifications.
  • Detailed interaction with consumable suppliers to understand products and how they can help Ebara meet industry or customer requirements/process targets.
  • Train local engineers and customers on new features of CMP systems.
  • Provide support to customers/users on-site for process evaluation, equipment set-up, or troubleshooting.
  • Comply with EBARA’s safety policies, including participation in and completion of all required safety training.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment compliant with Ebara and customer safety policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
