About The Position

REO Plastics, Inc., an ISO-certified custom injection molding company, is hiring a highly motivated, detail-oriented Process and Automation Technician. The technician will assist the Process Engineer in designing, building, and improving auxiliary equipment to maximize productivity on new and existing products. This is a hands-on role involving the design, fabrication, and implementation of new end-of-arm tooling (E.O.A.T.), as well as programming robots and/or PLCs to use the tooling. The technician will also help introduce new ideas into production by training production employees on new equipment and processes. Requirements

Be highly motivated and detail-oriented.
Have a good understanding of CAD, including SolidWorks.
Have a good understanding of PLCs, including Mitsubishi and Omron.
Have a good understanding of vision systems, including Cognex, Eye+, and Avalon.
Have a good understanding of robotics, including Fanuc, Denso, Universal, and Wittmann.
Have a good understanding of injection molding machines.
Be able to use CAD software, chop saws, band saws, drill presses, and other fabrication tools.
Have good working knowledge of Bridgeport machines and power hacksaws.

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of CNC machines.
