About The Position

Remarkable Careers.” We are currently looking for a Procedure Assistant to join our expanding outpatient clinics in a full-time position. Working collaboratively with X-Ray Technologists, Radiologists, and other healthcare professionals, you will facilitate patient preparation and clinic readiness for interventional diagnostic procedures. This includes verifying required documentation, setting up trays and supplies, and answering patient questions while maintaining patient comfort. Bringing compassion and clarity to each interaction, you’ll help ensure remarkable care every visit.

Requirements

  • Healthcare Background: Prior experience in hospital or clinic, particularly in diagnostic imaging, is preferred.
  • Procedure Assistant Skills: Demonstrated ability to set up rooms, including equipment, trays, and supplies.
  • A Compassionate Approach: A history of remarkable care, collaboration, adaptability, and flexibility.
  • Patient Coordination Experience: Background supporting workflow in partnership with other clinical teams, preparing and guiding patients throughout their visit, and contributing to the overall clinic readiness.
  • Administrative Background: Experience greeting patients and completing check-ins, verifying documentation and maintaining accurate records, along with an interest in continuing to develop these skills.
  • Technology Proficiency: Skilled using electronic medical record and radiology information systems, and clinical software such as Netcare and QGenda, along with Microsoft Office.
  • A Continuous Learning Mindset: A track record of ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Procedures: Setup trays, supplies, and equipment, and support Radiologists and X-Ray Technologists during fluoroscopy, injections, Upper GI, and pain management procedures.
  • Provide Remarkable Care: Prepare patients for procedures, verifying identification and required documentation, explaining what to expect, addressing questions, and easing concerns.
  • Administrative Coordination: Assist with clerical tasks as required, including patient check-ins, answering inbound inquiries, and assisting with rescheduling.
  • Collaborate with Clinic Teams: Partner with X-Ray, Administration, and other clinic teams to help deliver a seamless and thoughtful experience.
  • Expand Expertise: Engage in ongoing professional development to refine existing skills and stay current with advancements in patient care procedures.
  • Ensure Compliance: Follow privacy, confidentiality, safety, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and Troubleshoot Systems: Contribute to maintenance and inspection of medical equipment to ensure readiness.
  • Prepare and Maintain Work Areas: Prepare and stock exam rooms for patient exams and procedures; report low inventory as needed.
